Avoiding Floral Disappointment On Your Wedding Day

Most brides have fond memories of their wedding day decor. But if there is one area that seems prone to problems, it's floral arrangement. The good news is that you can do a lot to avoid disappointment with your flowers by asking then right questions when interviewing for a florist.

Are you a full-time florist?

Do you paint/airbrush flowers to fit a color scheme? (And let them know if you don't want this done!)

Have you handled events of this size before?

What time do you arrive to set-up your equipment?

How many weddings do you do per year?

Do you have a portfolio and a list of referrals?

What style do you specialize in? Romantic? Traditional? Modern?

How far in advance will you make my centerpieces and bouquets?

Do you require a deposit?

Do you provide a written contract?

What are some other questions that are important to ask? Let us know! :)
